Walking Alongside: Perspectives
Welcome to Walking Alongside: Perspectives. Take a walk with me as we explore perspectives that I find interesting, moving, ridiculous, hilarious, infuriating, frustrating or down right bizarre! This iteration of the podcast features a combination of short (read 10-15 minutes'ish or less) solo-pods sharing what I have seen, heard, experienced or am navigating and fun and insightful conversations with cool people. Hopefully it will be relatable, possibly humourous, thought provoking or at the very least, entertaining. Looking forward to sharing these perspectives and hope you enjoy.
Walking Alongside: Perspectives
Fear and Regret - 2 Sides of the Same Coin?
Have thoughts or ideas? Please share here!
Who hasn't done something they regret? Probably everyone? But how many times have you not done something and regretted it? Why did you decide to forego a particular opportunity? Was it something you knew or ought to have known not to do, or was it something that had too many unknowns? What keeps us from making choices that will have a happy outcome? We don't have the power of a crystal ball but we do have the power of hindsight. So while we may not be able to predict the future, we can learn from previous decisions that maybe we should take the path less travelled and have an experience that is both memorable and free of regret. Hope you listen in.
Listen wherever you get your podcasts - you can find Walking Alongside on Podcast Addict, Podchaser, Pocket Casts, Deezer, Player FM, Tune-In and of course Spotify, Google Player and Apple Podcasts - where if you can leave a comment or throw me some ideas of topics you'd like to hear about, that would be great.
Walking Alongside is written, recorded and produced by me - Charissa McKay (aka CharCharBinx) in my awesome basement home office/studio/craft room on Treaty 6 lands known originally as amiskwaciy-wâskahikan, meaning Beaver Hill House, in Nehiyawewin (Cree). There are other names, equally as meaningful, and I am grateful to those who were here before me, for the ability to call this place my home.
