Walking Alongside: Perspectives
Welcome to Walking Alongside: Perspectives. Take a walk with me as we explore perspectives that I find interesting, moving, ridiculous, hilarious, infuriating, frustrating or down right bizarre! This iteration of the podcast features a combination of short (read 10-15 minutes'ish or less) solo-pods sharing what I have seen, heard, experienced or am navigating and fun and insightful conversations with cool people. Hopefully it will be relatable, possibly humourous, thought provoking or at the very least, entertaining. Looking forward to sharing these perspectives and hope you enjoy.

Garbage - Not the Band
Have thoughts or ideas? Please share here!
Not what you might normally think would make for fascinating discussion, although there are people who actually study garbage...but this is not an archeological jaunt through the refuse of centuries or even millenia past - no - it's a look at the times we are in. Times that are rife with examples of all the myriad types of garbage that we contend with on an all too regular basis. And how perhaps a simple, and yet very complicated solution could help us out from under the weight of it all.
Shout out once again to the Tapeheads fact checker who helped ensure fidelity of details.
If you have a list of things that YOU think are garbage - please drop me a comment in the fanmail section (holding my breath here...cuz you know...)
Listen wherever you get your podcasts - you can find Walking Alongside on Podcast Addict, Podchaser, Pocket Casts, Deezer, Player FM, Tune-In and of course Spotify, Google Player and Apple Podcasts - where if you can leave a comment or throw me some ideas of topics you'd like to hear about, that would be great.
Walking Alongside is written, recorded and produced by me - Charissa McKay (aka CharCharBinx) in my awesome basement home office/studio/craft room on Treaty 6 lands known originally as amiskwaciy-wâskahikan, meaning Beaver Hill House, in Nehiyawewin (Cree). There are other names, equally as meaningful, and I am grateful to those who were here before me, for the ability to call this place my home.
