Walking Alongside: Perspectives
Welcome to Walking Alongside: Perspectives. Take a walk with me as we explore perspectives that I find interesting, moving, ridiculous, hilarious, infuriating, frustrating or down right bizarre! This iteration of the podcast features a combination of short (read 10-15 minutes'ish or less) solo-pods sharing what I have seen, heard, experienced or am navigating and fun and insightful conversations with cool people. Hopefully it will be relatable, possibly humourous, thought provoking or at the very least, entertaining. Looking forward to sharing these perspectives and hope you enjoy.

The Wedding Edition

In this midsummer episode we go all things wedding. From my own, to the one that I deem to be the best wedding ever. And everything in between. How do we feel about weddings? What's so great or not great about weddings? Why do we even want to get married anyway?
We've all (I'm assuming) been to at least one - probably a whole heck of a lot more than that, and I'm sure you all have wild and wacky, and probably some tacky tales about weddings you've experienced. Is it really like ole Blue Eyes sings about in Love and Marriage - do they really go together like a horse and carriage, or is it just the preamble to heartache and disappoint later?
Listen and find out where I stand and where I land on the topic of...weddings:) Enjoy!

Walking Alongside is written, recorded and produced by me - Charissa McKay (aka CharCharBinx) in my awesome basement home office/studio/craft room on Treaty 6 lands known originally as amiskwaciy-wâskahikan, meaning Beaver Hill House, in Nehiyawewin (Cree). There are other names, equally as meaningful, and I am grateful to those who were here before me, for the ability to call this place my home.
