Walking Alongside: Perspectives
Welcome to Walking Alongside: Perspectives. Take a walk with me as we explore perspectives that I find interesting, moving, ridiculous, hilarious, infuriating, frustrating or down right bizarre! This iteration of the podcast features a combination of short (read 10-15 minutes'ish or less) solo-pods sharing what I have seen, heard, experienced or am navigating and fun and insightful conversations with cool people. Hopefully it will be relatable, possibly humourous, thought provoking or at the very least, entertaining. Looking forward to sharing these perspectives and hope you enjoy.

The Productivity Trap!
Have thoughts or ideas? Please share here!
When we think about downtime, or maybe that should be DO we think about time time? And IF we do...what do we do about it? Is it the time to "get caught up"? Or is it actually down time? To do nothing of any importance? That's what I tackle in this episode - how can we, or more specifically, I, get better at taking advantage or downtime. More specifically, is there a way that I can get there before I literally run out of runway? (or in the case of this episode's analogy du jour...track?).
How do you spend your down time? Are you good at it? Is it something you are looking forward to having "one day"? Where are you at when it comes to productivity?

Walking Alongside is written, recorded and produced by me - Charissa McKay (aka CharCharBinx) in my awesome basement home office/studio/craft room on Treaty 6 lands known originally as amiskwaciy-wâskahikan, meaning Beaver Hill House, in Nehiyawewin (Cree). There are other names, equally as meaningful, and I am grateful to those who were here before me, for the ability to call this place my home.
