I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy (well, maybe my WORST enemy) what my friend Jeremy has had to endure, deal with and overcome over the last almost 2 years. In this episode we talk about what happens when life takes a dramatic and unexpected left turn, what a person can do to prepare themselves for the those improbable situations and what the lessons are that will help to move us forward or in a completely different direction. There is a crazy 'crime drama' pod scene and some comic relief as only Jeremy can provide.

We mention a YouTube video that has some really good points to consider as it pertains to those of us who have chosen that 'good and straight path through school and career' and I've added another that Jeremy also sent to me, that illustrates sometimes you just need to do what you need to do.

Walking Alongside is written, recorded and produced by me - Charissa McKay (aka CharCharBinx) in my awesome basement home office/studio/craft room on Treaty 6 lands known originally as amiskwaciy-wâskahikan, meaning Beaver Hill House, in Nehiyawewin (Cree). There are other names, equally as meaningful, and I am grateful to those who were here before me, for the ability to call this place my home.
