Walking Alongside: Perspectives
Welcome to Walking Alongside: Perspectives. Take a walk with me as we explore perspectives that I find interesting, moving, ridiculous, hilarious, infuriating, frustrating or down right bizarre! This iteration of the podcast features a combination of short (read 10-15 minutes'ish or less) solo-pods sharing what I have seen, heard, experienced or am navigating and fun and insightful conversations with cool people. Hopefully it will be relatable, possibly humourous, thought provoking or at the very least, entertaining. Looking forward to sharing these perspectives and hope you enjoy.

Joy and Podcasting and Other Stuff - with my Pen Pal
So this somehow ended up becoming a bit of a follow-up episode to my last conversation (with myself) only this time, I get to talk about stuff with my Pen Pal, Todd, who joins me from Portland. We talk joy, podcasts (making and listening and stats and such) and how important it is to make life decisions based on your path, not someone else's, and how finding that path takes effort and commitment. In order for there not to be too many spoilers, I'll leave it at that. I hope you find it informative in a way that only someone else's added perspective can accomplish.

Walking Alongside is written, recorded and produced by me - Charissa McKay (aka CharCharBinx) in my awesome basement home office/studio/craft room on Treaty 6 lands known originally as amiskwaciy-wâskahikan, meaning Beaver Hill House, in Nehiyawewin (Cree). There are other names, equally as meaningful, and I am grateful to those who were here before me, for the ability to call this place my home.
